5 Steps to your Visualization

Our visualization-process - Steps and workflow from generating a 3D model to optimize it efficiently.

  • STEP 1: Technical Check,  Data Take Over, Generating 3D Model

There are different starting points for a visualization project.  The most common scenario is to use an already existing CAD or BIM file. With direct communication with your BIM (Building Information Modelling) – or 3D specialists, we try to find the most efficient way to take over the data. We can import your model from Revit, 3ds Max, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino or ArchiCAD, among many other modeling programs. By optimizing the data (for example, reducing polygons) we can save resources in the visualization and especially the render process.

If you do not have a CAD or BIM model yet, a project can also start with 3D modeling based on a 2D plan or with the so-called “Scan to BIM.” Scan2BIM is a process that utilizes scanning to create high accuracy 3D-BIM models. For example, for retrofit, refurbishment, and renovation projects.

  • STEP 2: Briefing

In the Briefing Process, which is usually a personal meeting/ workshop or video-conference, the goal is to define the following points:

–    Level of Detail (LoD)
–    Target Groups
–    Marketing Objectives/ KPI´s
–    Channels for Release
–    Budget

  • STEP 3: Production

In the production phase, our specialists work together in an integrated workflow between 3D animation – Graphic design – Video production – Mixed reality production.
We keep you updated at defined milestones and will follow a 2-step feedback procedure to guarantee your satisfaction.
The output can be a static rendering, a video clip, virtual reality content/ 360° video or content for your augmented reality App.
Most projects are finished at this point.

  • STEP 4: Strategic Release

If you want to go one step further, we can assist with professional methods to define the best release strategy for your visualizations.
You might want to use your visualizations in a more complex corporate video, combined with interviews, animations, drone shots of the construction site or real video footage from the finished building. We can help you in producing a corporate video — the first step: writing a script.
The video can also be a part of an integrated multimedia campaign or can be used in a mixed reality app.

  • STEP 5: Creating a Framework

After a first pilot project, you could integrate our team more into your internal processes and in this way make the production of your visualizations faster.
Together we can create your individual framework.
